ONSG DG, Patrick Ogon, Appoints Five LGA Coordinators, Strengthens Grassroots Mobilisation in Cross River North

The Director-General of the Oturukang Network Support Group (ONSG), Mr. Patrick Ogon, has announced the appointment of five Local Government Area Coordinators across Cross River North Senatorial District as part of efforts to strengthen the organisation’s grassroots mobilisation structure ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a statement made available to the press on Sunday, Ogon said the appointments followed extensive consultations and careful scrutiny by the group’s leadership, expressing confidence that the new coordinators would bring commitment, dedication and effective leadership to their respective local government areas.

He explained that the appointments were part of a deliberate effort to expand the organisation’s operational structure, strengthen grassroots engagement and enhance coordination of its activities across the senatorial district.

The newly appointed coordinators are Mr. Ray Matiki for Ogoja LGA; Mr. Ben Ogrinya for Yala LGA; Mr. Mark Henry Eneng for Obanliku LGA; Barr. Paul Idiga for Bekwarra LGA; and Dr. Celsus Undeshi for Obudu LGA.

Congratulating the appointees, the Director-General charged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by demonstrating purposeful leadership, loyalty and dedication to the objectives of the organisation.

Ogon further stated that the coordinators would be expected to mobilise grassroots support for the re-election of Governor Senator Bassey Edet Otu, his Deputy, Rt. Hon. Dr. Peter Odey, and all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.

He emphasised the need for unity, effective communication and sustained grassroots mobilisation to advance the organisation’s political objectives.

The Oturukang Network Support Group is a support organisation registered with the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State.
