The Senator representing Cross River North Senatorial District, Sen. Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, has congratulated the newly promoted Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Mrs. Margaret Agebe Ochalla, on her elevation and appointment as the head of the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID).
Senator Jarigbe described the promotion as a well-deserved recognition of DIG Ochalla’s dedication, professionalism, and years of meritorious service to the Nigeria Police Force and the nation. He noted that her appointment comes at a time when the country needs experienced and principled officers to strengthen internal security and reinforce public confidence in law enforcement.
DIG Margaret Agebe Ochalla, who hails from Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State, recently attained the prestigious rank of Deputy Inspector-General of Police and was formally decorated at the Peacekeeping Hall of the Force Headquarters in Abuja. During a visit to the senator’s National Assembly office, she expressed appreciation for the support and goodwill shown to her by leaders and stakeholders from Cross River North.
