The Honourable Member representing Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency, Godwin Offiono, today received the newly promoted Deputy Inspector General of Police, Margaret Agebe Ochalla, at his National Assembly office shortly after her official decoration.
Hon. Offiono congratulated DIG Ochalla on her elevation to the prestigious rank, describing it as a proud moment for the people of Yala and Cross River State. He noted that her promotion reflects her dedication, professionalism, and years of committed service to Nigeria through the Nigeria Police Force.
After the meeting, Hon. Offiono accompanied DIG Ochalla and her team on a courtesy visit to the office of the Senator representing Cross River North Senatorial District, Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe. DIG Ochalla, an indigene of Yala Local Government Area, was promoted to the rank last week and formally decorated today at the Peacekeeping Hall of the Force Headquarters, Abuja.
