Looking back to November and December of last year, I am filled with gratitude to God for His faithfulness and guidance.
I have come to understand that serving in the House of God is a great privilege and a blessed opportunity. Through this service, I have learned valuable lessons about dedication, humility, patience, and appreciation.
One of the teachings that has remained with me from the sermons of Bishop Ifeanyi Akunna, Bishop of Ogoja Missionary Diocese, Anglican Communion, is the importance of being appreciative and patient in all that we do. These virtues are essential for Christian growth and effective service in God’s vineyard.
His Lordship, the Rt. Rev. Ifeanyichukwu Akunna, has continually demonstrated fatherly love, wisdom, and understanding toward members of the Diocese, the clergys, church workers, and teachers. His leadership has inspired many and continues to strengthen the Missionary Diocese of Ogoja as the diocese will grow higher.
As the Diocesan Communicator, I began this journey with very limited knowledge of the Sacraments and Liturgical practices of the Anglican Church. However, under the guidance, mentorship, and encouragement of His Lordship, I have continued to learn and grow in both knowledge and service.
Today and Always, I give thanks to God for the leadership of Bishop Ifeanyichukwu Akunna and for the opportunity to serve in the Diocese..
