FRANCIS ODACHI EKPO STEPS DOWN FROM OGOJA/YALA REPS RACE, BACKS STELLA ODEY EKPO

Francis Odachi Ekpo has officially stepped down from the race for the Ogoja/Yala Federal House of Representatives seat after consultations with leaders of the party in Cross River State.

Speaking on his decision, Ekpo said the peace, unity, and progress of the party remain more important than personal ambition, noting that sacrifice is necessary when the interest of the people and the party is involved.

He explained that his desire to contest was born out of his passion to serve the people and provide quality representation for the Ogoja/Yala constituency.

Ekpo also appreciated the Governor of Cross River State, Bassey Edet Otu, for his leadership style, wisdom, and commitment to keeping the party united while promoting development across the state.

He went further to thank his supporters, friends, and political associates for standing by him throughout the journey. According to him, the love, encouragement, and trust shown to him will never be forgotten.

Following his withdrawal, Francis Odachi Ekpo called on all his supporters to fully support Stella Odey Ekpo, expressing confidence in her ability to provide effective and people-centered representation at the National Assembly.

He ended his message by praying for God’s blessings upon the people of Ogoja/Yala and everyone who has supported him.
