The Member representing Ogoja State Constituency Hon. Engr Thomas Aruku, has felicitated the Muslim Ummah in this year’s Eid-el-fitri celebration. Delivering a message of hope he urged all Muslims to uphold the sacrifice of Allah.
He said we are all connected by an uncommon string of bonds, because instability in one region affects the economic fortunes in another region. He urged all the actors in the Middle East conflict to acknowledge this philosophy and play by mutual respect.
He used the occasion to admonish Muslims to reflect on the teachings of Ramadan, as a principle in the Holy Book. Congratulations, have a great celebration!
