As we celebrate Democracy Day, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Nigerians and urge all citizens to continue promoting peace, unity, and understanding in our communities and across the nation.
Democracy is not only about elections and governance; it is about respecting one another, embracing our differences, and working together for the common good. The strength of any democracy lies in the ability of its people to live peacefully, engage constructively, and place national interest above personal and sectional considerations.
At a time when our nation seeks greater progress and development, we must all play our part in building bridges of friendship, encouraging tolerance, and supporting efforts that promote harmony among our people. Peace remains the foundation upon which sustainable growth and prosperity are built.
